of 11 players each. It is played with a game on a rectangular field, covered with grass, having a goal at each end. The purpose of the game is to score, kicking the ball in the opponent team’s goal. Except the goal keeper, the other players can’t use their hands to handle the ball. The winner of the game is the team which scored the most goals at the end of the match.
Soccer is more than 2000 years old. In 2004 the world organization which governs this sport FIFA has acknowledged China as the birth place of soccer. Around the year 200 BC, Chinese used to take up a similar sport called cuju. The rules evolved in time so that the final version of soccer is what you can see nowadays.
