The only time when a player can use hands in soccer is when he throws the ball from the side of the field. In any other situations the players can use any part of the body in order to direct the ball. Players can come close to the opponent goal by dribbling, by passing the ball between players of the same team and by kicking it to the goal. Opponent players can recuperate the ball intercepting the ball passed or taking it from the opponent. Physical contact is limited. Soccer is a team sport which is played by two teams made of 11 players each. It is played with a game on a rectangular field, covered with grass, having a goal at each end. The purpose of the game is to score, kicking the ball in the opponent team’s goal. Except the goal keeper, the other players can’t use their hands to handle the ball.
